about

Caitlin has always gravitated towards all things art and design.

As a kid, she consumed any craft based activity, including beaded jewellery and at 10 years old, sold her wares in the corner of her dad’s office on ‘sick days’ off school.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Design / Art Education at UNSW Art and Design, her best months (when not behind the bench) were spent on exchange at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Exposure to new art and design experiences through travel help enhance her practice and understanding of the jewellery world. Whilst a jeweller, Caitlin also has worked as a high school Visual Arts teacher, allowing her to impart her practice on the next generation.

Recently, Caitlin moved north to Brisbane, refining her practice and expanding upon her use of materials including Australian Sapphires and Queensland Boulder Opals. Whether it be face-to-face or via Zoom meeting calls, Caitlin ensures that as the client, you are involved throughout the whole design process, which can be further understood here.
